We allow 2hours for your appointment. In this time we do a full consultation, brow shape and map, colour match, the actual tattooing (using a numbing agent) and followed by aftercare.  

Prior to your appointment you will be sent a confirmation email which includes all the information needed for your appointment. Please let us know prior if you are on any medications or have any medical confitions which may effect your treatment. Avoid caffine, alcohol, ibuprofen 24hours prior to your treatment as these work as blood thinners. 

Unfortunately you can not have cosmetic tattooing done while pregnant. You can have it preformed while breastfeeding with caution, if you let us know we can talk you through this.

Cosmetic tattooing is very gentle on the skin. Some clients can feel some minor discomfort which is normally described as scratchy but we do use a numbing agent throughout the treatment to minimise discomfort. 

We offer complimentary consultations either in clinic or via phone call to answer all your questions and queries

ONYX is located north of Auckland in a Orewa. A wee beautiful home based clinic. We also hold a health protection licence issued by the Auckland council.

We ask children to not be brought along to your appointment as this can be a safety issue. You are more than welcome to bring along a friend or partner to your appointment if you would like.
